Our 失物招领处 is located at its new location: 4000 Garden City Drive, 8楼, 804套房, Hyattsville, MD 20782. Customers may pick up lost and found items from Monday through Friday between 9am and 5pm. Proper identification is required. 

• Customers opting to have items returned via mail must incur the cost of mailing.
• Non-returnable items such as perishables, clothing, umbrellas, and bikes will not be kept by Lost & 发现.

Report a Lost Item

There are two ways to report an item lost within the Metrorail or Metro公共汽车 systems:

For items lost within the Metrorail or Metro公共汽车 system, our 在线了 & 发现形式 is the easiest and most efficient way to report lost items. Once you submit information on the lost item online, it will be entered into our tracking system for processing and accessible to Lost & 发现人员. Within 30 minutes, you will receive a confirmation email with a case number. To ensure that you receive a reply, please add the address "csvc@sourceandsummit.net" to the "white list" of any spam filter that may be running on your home computer or office email system. If you reply to the confirmation email with the additional lost item information, it will automatically route to the appropriate person/department handling your report. Please note, if your item is found, it may take up to five 公共汽车iness days to reach our Lost & 发现 department.

You can also report your lost item by phone. You may contact our Lost & 发现 office at 202-962-1195 during the following hours: Monday-Friday 9 am - 5 pm, excluding federal holidays. A customer service representative will record your information and provide you with a case number. Please reference your case number in all communications regarding your lost item. 一个失落的 & 发现 customer service representative will search the system for matching found items. If a match is found, we will contact you by email or phone to verify your item.

Telephone Support

Metro makes every attempt to return lost items to their rightful owners with-in 30 days. Repeated visits, calls, or emails to our Lost & 发现 office will not help the process work more efficiently. For further information, see the  常见问题解答.
